I was responsible for the design direction of the platform, ensuring usability and consistency across the responsive interface, while closely collaborating with backend, frontend, and project management teams.Context and goals
MF Newswires needed a modern digital environment to unify multiple financial news feeds (MF Newswires, MT Newswires, Nasdaq) and make them easily accessible to professional users. The goal was to provide a flexible dashboard, powerful search, and timely alerts, all while maintaining reliability for a data-intensive audience that depends on speed and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Defined the design system and translated functional requirements into wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Collaborated with backend and frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Coordinated with client stakeholders to validate requirements and adjust the interface for specific workflows.
- Oversaw the responsive adaptation to ensure consistent user experience across desktop and mobile.
- Contributed to the documentation and shared design deliverables via Figma and Zeplin.
