An app that helps foreign Apple Developer Academy students moving to Napoli navigate the bureaucracy by providing guides and information.

Introduction

An app designed specifically for foreign Apple Developer Academy students moving to Napoli, aiming to ease their navigation through the bureaucratic processes by providing comprehensive guides and essential information. This innovative solution empowers students to tackle the challenges associated with bureaucracy, ensuring a smooth transition and enabling them to focus on their studies and personal growth. With its user-centric design and wealth of resources, the app wants to revolutionise the experience of international students in Napoli.

My role

I conducted various types of research, including desk research, surveys, and one-on-one interviews. Through thorough investigation, I sought to understand the unique needs and pain points of foreign students navigating the bureaucratic landscape in Napoli.

In order to validate our ideas and concepts, I orchestrated validation tests involving more than 20 individuals. These tests, known as Concierge Validation Experiments, allowed us to gather valuable feedback and insights. By observing user interactions, listening to their experiences, and analysing their responses, we refined our app's design and functionality to better address the specific challenges faced by international students.

Additionally, I actively contributed to the creation of a compelling pitch deck. Drawing upon the research findings and user feedback, I collaborated with the team to craft a persuasive narrative that effectively communicated the value proposition of our app. By leveraging my expertise in user research and understanding the pain points of foreign students, we presented a compelling case to the Apple Developer Academy managers.

Results

The validation tests we conducted with over 20 individuals proved instrumental in refining our app's design and functionality. By actively listening to user feedback and iterating on our concepts, we ensured that our app met the unique requirements of foreign students. This iterative process resulted in a highly effective solution that simplifies bureaucracy navigation and enhances the overall app experience.
